He is a member of the Family Law Sections and Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida Bar, Sarasota County Bar Association, and American Bar Association. He is a Master in the Thomas E. Penick Elder Law Inn of Court and a Master Emeritus in the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court. Mr. Friedland has served on the boards of several non profit associations and has been an active Rotarian for over 39 years.
