Fresh Fridays is back on Palm Ave with another unforgettable evening in downtown Sarasota! Join us on Friday, May 2, from 7 to 10 p.m. for American Routes, a high-energy celebration of music, community, and coastal charm—right on Palm Avenue, next to the vibrant Art Ovation Hotel. This month’s event features Derek Lersch, a rising star in the country-rock scene whose powerhouse vocals and dynamic stage presence have wowed audiences across the country. Blending country grit with rock-and-roll flair, Derek’s performance will have you dancing in the street, singing along, and soaking up those Sarasota springtime vibes.

In true Fresh Fridays fashion, the night will be filled with live music, complimentary light bites from some of downtown’s favorite restaurants, and plenty of free giveaways while supplies last. Whether you're meeting friends for a fun night out, bringing the family for an evening stroll, or visiting from out of town, American Routes is the perfect way to kick off your weekend.
