Café Epicure is an authentic Italian trattoria sitting on the corner of Main Street and Palm Avenue in historic downtown Sarasota, FL. It was founded in 2000 after the success of our sister restaurant, Mediterraneo. We are one of the most authentic and detailed oriented restaurants outside of Italy. The atmosphere is casual but our quality is outstanding. Our head chef, Stefano Sasso, is a native of Ischia, an island off the Naples coast. He prepares each dish carefully using on the freshest ingredients. Everything here is made from scratch; sauces, fresh pasta, bread, desserts and gelato.
